Extruder Hone Machine
1. INTRODUCTION
This equipment¡¯s process uses two vertically opposed cylinders which extrude an abrasive media back and forth through passages formed by the workpiece and tooling. In the process, the workpiece or fixture load of workpieces is placed between the lower and upper media cylinders. The media is hydraulically forced from the lower media cylinder up through the workpiece or fixture into the upper media cylinder. The media is then forced hydraulically from the upper media cylinder down through the workpiece or fixture and back into the lower media cylinder, comprising one working cycle. The number of cycles or time required per application depends on media selection, operating pressure, and the workpiece and tooling configuration.
The equipment has dual operation modes: manual and automatic. Operator input is required for every machine operation in the manual mode. In the automatic mode, the operator must preset all parameters into the Human and Machine Interface (HMI) before startup. During machine operation the operator is given time to change workpiece in the fixture.

Abrasive Flowing Extrude Hone Machine Series is used as a common basic machine to offer a wide range of utilities of mechanical parts and components such as dies or moulds and others which has inaccessible areas and complex internal passages.
This unique process is deal for cross-drilled holes, stepped and intersecting bores, concave and convex surfaces, milled and broached slots, internal radii and chamfers, internal bends and curves, polishing internal passageways, elimianting had deburring, and hundreds others.
Such applications spread all over profile extrusion dies or moulds, drawing dies, hard alloy polishing, fuel injector nozzles, fibre injector board, toy parts, valve bodies, engine parts, fluid delivery tubes, and so on.
